The Power Of Choice

                              The Power Of Choice

Do you believe in destiny? If yes, then what about your choice and decision? Which do you prefer to believe? Your destiny or your choice? How could we know if we have correct choice?

We are in a place with lots of possibilities that change the direction of our lives using the most powerful tool we have. It opens a different doors with different outcomes and we are the one who is responsible for opening the doors with the key that we called choice.

Choice has something to do with our decision. Decisions define destiny because life is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice. In our lives, we are encountering different scenarios with lots of choices. It is hard to choose especially if your future depends on it. But whatever happens, we ended up on making our own decision. Sometimes, we fail and sometimes we are proud. What you decide is your choice and what you choose is your destination.

Let me tell you a story about making a choice. When I was seven years old, I want to be a teacher but when I reached  the age of ten, I realized that I wanted to become a chef. Then after graduating elementary, I wanted to become a flight attendant then, all of a sudden, I became an ABM student who wants to be a certified public accountant even I do not have any interest in accounting. After filling out the form given to me, I found myself asking, “Why I wrote ABM as my chosen track? Why not Tourism since I really want it?”. What I am trying to explain is, we can only choose one. And that one will define what will you be in the future. What if I choose to have Education as a course? Will I experience the same level of difficulties? If I choose to be a Tourism student, will I experience the real happiness that I really want? And the answer is, “I will never know”. Because this is what I have chosen and there is no way I can go back in the past. All I can do is, try all of my options  and  move to the future to choose the best life that I can have.

Every happenings in our lives are our decisions and choices. Waking up early in the morning, what kind of food will you eat and even the dress you were wearing. It is all your choice. We should not believe the saying, “If it is meant to be, it will happen.”. What is the purpose of believing those words? There is nothing meant for us if we do not act. I would rather believe “If it is meant to be, it is up to me” because what are you now is not because of destiny. It is because of choosing the life that you think is the best for you and for everybody.

Yes, destiny does exist but I must say, choice has the power to change it. In every decisions, there are different destinies. In every choices, there is a different stories. It is up to us to choose and we have an option if we are going to use the power of choice.

All About Me

Jhianne S. Javier

           "ALL ABOUT ME"

Me

When someone asked me about myself, I really don't know where to start. I don't know why but it's hard for me to tell something about myself. I'm not good at sharing my story and I'm also not good at expressing my emotions or feelings but I will try my best. Please do understand that I’m not fluent in using English language so you may encounter wrong grammars but then, please take time to read my story and I thank you =)

Unhealthy Jhianne
On January 8, 2002, a baby girl was born and it’s me! My name is Jhianne S. Javier. I love to sing and dance. My mother’s name is Lea S. Javier and My father is Rogelio C. Javier. I have one sibling named Jazmin S. Javier. She is two years younger than me. For us, Life is full of challenges. When I was two or three years old, My body became weak as well as my health because my lungs are damaged and it cause a swelling on my neck. It was cancerous so I need an immediate operation but they are afraid to do it because they do not know if I can survive the operation. I didn’t know the exact detail of what happened but after a year, a miracle occur. My condition gets better until I became strong and healthy again. I forgot the name of my medicine but I’m so glad that it helps me to recover.

Me And My Father

Mom, Me and Dad
Childhood memories are special for everyone but for me, it’s not. I thought that the biggest problem in my life is my health but when I was six years old, I witnessed a fight that broke my heart for the first time. I hear how my mother cries every night. Her plead and beg so that my father won’t leave us. But one day, I woke up and he’s gone. He left us. My tears can’t stop from falling. I’m shouting “papa” as loud as I can but he can’t hear me. I cried until there’s no more tears left. I felt numb and empty. After a year, I chose to stay with my father. I can only see my mother and my younger sister once a week. My father has a work so he's not able to supervise me. He decided to bring me to his parents house. I don’t mind it since I really

love my father so much. I heard many negative stories about my father, but I didn’t listen to any of those until my eyes saw it. I saw him with someone and they are both happy with a baby on his arms. I thought I will cry but I didn’t. I felt nothing but anger. I returned to my mother’s house and told her everything. She told me that she knew everything from the start but she's still trying to beg my father to be with us. Though, not for her anymore but for me and for my younger sister. She only stopped begging when she heard that my father have a baby to another woman already. Despite that, my mother told me not to be angry with my father because whatever happens, he’s still my father. I asked my mother why she stopped form trying to get my father back and she

We grew up with my mother and we’re happy! I felt her love and her care.

Being part of this world is not easy. When I was 10 years
me with mama
old, my mother decided to apply in Taiwan because her work here is not stable and her salary is not enough for the three of us. Since my aunt is in Canada that time, she promised to help my mother to pay her plane ticket and after many months of dealing with the process of some papers needed, she successfully had a work in Taiwan. We live in our grandfather’s house. We still able to communicate with my mother. Thanks to the help of technology. Until now, she's still working as an OFW and I'm very proud that she's my mother.

I consider myself as a lucky person since
mama with my younger sister
I’m still part of this world. Yes, my story is not that good but I believe that everything happens for a reason. I’m very grateful because God gave us a better life. We can eat three or more times a day and we can buy what we want. We’re not rich by money but we’re rich by love. My family is not perfect but we’re happy and it’s enough. I can say that I’m free from the hatred that I have for my father since I accepted everything happened to us. I'm thankful to our relatives who loves us and never neglect us.

Problems are everywhere. Every day, we’re facing them but
^_^
every problem has its own solution. You just need to be brave and be patient. God will not give us a problem that we can’t solve. I’m still encountering problems nowadays but day by day, it helps me to live and it gives me more learning’s in life. For me, every resolved problem is an achievement. So my greatest achievement is I’m still here! Alive and breathing. Don't let your problem control you, control your problem.

Now, I’m still a student in STI Sta. Rosa. An ABM student who
...
wants to be an accountant someday and be a successful CPA. We should not be just a dreamer, but a doer. Dreaming who you want to be is a step closer to achieve your goals. Nothing is impossible for anyone who look forward to the future. Life must go on so we should continue living and be a star that is brightly shining.
